- Is this for cats or dogs?
- Both, honestly — it came out of the cat-fountain category and the shape shows it: tall tank, shallow dish. It suits cats, small and medium dogs, and multi-pet houses where several animals share one water source. Large and giant breeds are the wrong fit and we say so above.
- How loud is it?
- We don't know. The manufacturer says ultra-quiet; that's their word and we haven't measured it. We're not going to repeat a claim as though we'd verified it. If it turns out to be loud in your house, the guarantee covers you and we'd like to hear about it.
- What happens if the pump fails?
- It becomes a bowl with water in it — it doesn't dump the tank. But a pump is a moving part and moving parts fail, which a ceramic dish never does. That's the honest trade you're making at this price.
- How do I clean it?
