The Never-Empty Bowl

Ships from a US warehouse — days, not weeks · 30-day guarantee: a photo, not a return label

By two in the afternoon, the bowl is empty.

You filled it before you left. You won't be back for six hours. Nobody is going to top it up, and you will never see the empty bowl — because you're not there when it happens.

A BOWL HOLDS ONE BOWL. THAT IS THE WHOLE PROBLEM.ONE DISH7 AM2 PMTwo dogs, one hot day, and it's gonebefore lunch. The bowl then sitsempty until you walk back in.You are not there to see it happen.TANK + DISHRESERVOIRDRINKING DISHPpumpThe tank behind the dish keeps thedrinking level topped up all day.
The dish is not the storage. The tank behind it is. The dish only ever holds what's comfortable to drink from — the tank does the waiting.

The two-bowl workaround

You put down a second bowl. Now there are two bowls to trip over and two bowls to wash, and they both run out — just an hour later.
You buy the biggest dish you can find.A wide open dish that size collects hair, dust and whatever the dog was carrying. Nobody wants to drink from it by evening.
You ask someone to pop in.Works until the day they don't.

All three are attempts to store more water in the thing they drink out of. That's the mistake. Storage and drinking are two different jobs.

So the tank does the storing

The reservoir sits behind the dish and holds the bulk of the water. A pump moves it forward as the level drops, so the dish stays at a constant, shallow, drinkable depth from the morning through to when you get home.

You refill the tank, not the dish. That's the entire difference, and it's why the number that matters is how long between refills — not how big the bowl looks.

What we claim — and what we don't

We opened this year and we ship from a US warehouse. Everything below is the manufacturer's specification, not our own testing, and where the spec sheet is silent we have left the row blank rather than fill it with a guess. You should be able to see exactly how much we actually know.

The claim Where it comes from
Reservoir feeds the drinking dish via pump SUPPLIER SPEC SHEET — this is the mechanism, and it's the reason to buy it
"Ultra-quiet" pump THE MANUFACTURER'S WORD, not a measurement. We have not put a decibel meter on it. If quiet matters to you — bedroom, studio flat, light sleeper — treat this as unproven and use the guarantee if it's louder than you'll live with.
Capacity in litres NOT STATED BY THE SUPPLIER, so we are not publishing one. We could estimate it from the box dimensions and it would look authoritative. It would also be a guess, and you'd be buying on it.
Health, hydration or kidney benefit NOT CLAIMED. We are not telling you this makes your pet healthier or that it will drink more. We have no evidence for either and it would be an easy lie to tell. It holds more water than a bowl. That's the product.
Runs without mains power NOT CLAIMED. There's a pump. It needs power.

The 30-day guaranteeIf it doesn't work in your house, send us a photo or a short video — full refund. One per household.

No return label, no repacking. If the pump is louder than you can live with, or the tank doesn't last your day, or it doesn't suit your animals — that's ours to eat, not yours to post back. Given how much of this page says "we don't know yet," that guarantee is doing the work a review section normally would.

Don't buy it if

You have a giant breed. This is built around a tall reservoir and a shallow dish — it came out of the cat-fountain category and the shape shows it. A Great Dane at a tower this height is the wrong shape of problem. A wide floor-level dish suits you better and costs less.
There's no socket near where they drink. The pump needs mains power. An extension lead across a kitchen with animals in it isn't a plan.
You're home all day. Then you'll see the bowl when it's empty and you'll fill it. You do not need this. Keep your money.
You want it for a health reason.Talk to your vet, not to us. We sell a water container.
You need to know the exact capacity before you buy.Fair. We don't have that number yet and we're not going to make one up. Wait for us to publish it.

Fair questions

Is this for cats or dogs?
Both, honestly — it came out of the cat-fountain category and the shape shows it: tall tank, shallow dish. It suits cats, small and medium dogs, and multi-pet houses where several animals share one water source. Large and giant breeds are the wrong fit and we say so above.
How loud is it?
We don't know. The manufacturer says ultra-quiet; that's their word and we haven't measured it. We're not going to repeat a claim as though we'd verified it. If it turns out to be loud in your house, the guarantee covers you and we'd like to hear about it.
What happens if the pump fails?
It becomes a bowl with water in it — it doesn't dump the tank. But a pump is a moving part and moving parts fail, which a ceramic dish never does. That's the honest trade you're making at this price.
How do I clean it?
It comes apart — tank, dish, pump. Rinse the tank, wash the dish. Any fountain with a pump wants doing weekly, not monthly.
Do I still need to check it?
Yes. This buys you a day, not a week. It is not a reason to leave animals alone longer than you already do.
