This one has a floor in it
Inside the base is a rigid PP plate the manufacturer rates to 440 lb. It bridges the footwell instead of draping over it, so your dog stands on something solid — not a sheet suspended over a drop.
That single difference is why it works. Everything else is protection: six layers, 600D waterproof Oxford, and side flaps covering the door panels where the claw marks actually happen.

Will it fit your car?
Unfolded it's 80.9 × 64.6 inches. It fits most cars, SUVs and trucks.
One requirement: your rear seat needs headrest posts. That's what the straps anchor to. If your back seat has no headrests, this won't stay put — don't buy it.

Fair questions
- How is this different from the cheap hammocks?
- Those sag into the footwell — same hole, now in fabric. This has a rigid plate that spans it. That's the entire product.
- Will it slide around?
- Headrest straps at the back, buckles to the door frames at the sides, anti-slip base. Report back if it moves and the guarantee covers you.
- Can he still see me?
- Yes — there's a mesh window through to the front. It matters more than people expect for dogs who fuss in the car.
- How do I clean it?
- Damp cloth, vacuum, lint roller, or hose it and hang it. It's Oxford cloth, not upholstery.
- Have you tested it yourselves?
